In most instances, the ITL has been responsible for the same results our client manager now needs. The ITL/client manager interface makes for an effective relationship with our client. Our ITL's have been there and done that. It is from a done it before perspective that comfort arises in the service process. We understand the challenges the decision-maker faces.

Contractor Support:
ITL's support our contractors and Human Resource Consultants in much the same way: from a position of understanding. The ITL role bridges the trilogy of client manager-IT Technical-Acquisition Team. That bridge is communication. Most think of communications as downwards. World-renowned Management Consultant Peter Drucker, expresses that "True productivity by the knowledge worker of today comes from the focus on contribution and the side to side communications between and among knowledge workers. If the objectives are clear and the knowledge worker well informed, this focus and the side to side communications are where productivity gains are greatest."
The ITL will flesh out the requirements and project delivery plan, interface with the hiring manager and the selected candidates and communicate to the knowledge worker the objectives in a continuous dialoguing process. The ITL can encourage side to side communication to identify roadblocks or risks and keep management informed. "Risk Assessment" and "Works-in-Process" reports can be provided. Human Resource Liaisons (HRL's):
Our HRL's work directly with our contract community. The HRL's job is to support the Technology Contractors, removing every obstacle possible, allowing our ITC's to focus on our client's mission. Be it assignment acclimation, benefits issues, transitions in and out of an assignment, logistical support, HRL's are there to support our customers through their active roll between the ITC's and the assigned contractors.
